Closing mid-November for a thoughtful refresh; reopening mid-January with an additional two independent stays — same soul, new shine.
We’ve welcomed guests to our natural retreat for seven years now, and that seven-year rhythm really is a thing. Life shifts—sometimes big, sometimes subtle—but always meaningful. Over these years, hundreds of you have stayed, shared kind words without fail, and helped us carry the Superhost, 5★ banner every single year. Thank you. Truly.
So… where do we go from here?
What we’ve learned: while “natural” has always been our compass, it’s the calm, design and comfort of the accommodation that set Back to la Tierra apart. And yes—Paul’s art and his on-site studio have become part of the magic for so many of you.
The Pause
We’ll be closing in mid-November to refurbish and reimagine, then reopening in mid-January. Same heart, deeper comfort.
What’s Changing (quietly, beautifully)
We’re reshaping the guest house into two independent stays, perfect for the couples who make up 99% of our bookings.
Facilities are expanding and the décor is being elevated—nature-led materials, just a touch more stylish luxury.
What’s Staying
The soul of Back to la Tierra—our nature-first feel and slow rhythm.
Paul’s studio presence will also be elevated with a new atelier in the garden and natural art workshops for our creatieve guest
Our commitment to thoughtful hosting (and yes, those little details you notice).
Before We Close…
If you’ve been meaning to visit—or want one last stay in the “original” BtLT—a handful of dates remain before mid-November at very friendly prices. We would love to see you before the year turns. Check out our last dates, please email info@backtolatierra.com to book.
I’m going back to my mood board! So much fun to create something new that will bring you back to la Tierra in a whole other way!
Hasta pronto!
Marina
(& Paul says hi!)
